Red Sparrow 2018 ★★★★

     Há algo perturbador associado ao vermelho que porventura se associa ao título (Red) e que me despertou um certo desconforto ao longo de 2h.

      Red Sparrow é, antes de mais, um filme de espiões. E quantos filmes de espiões já não foram feitos, vistos e revistos? Quantos filmes de espiões não têm aquela fan fatal que enlouquece as personagens e ultrapassada obstáculos aparentemente impossíveis de tal?Mas o surpreendente é que, apesar do trailer insinuar ser mais um dejavou de Hollywood, não o é, e não consigo compreender a mísera cotação que lhe é atribuído. 

     Tenho pouco a falar em termos técnicos visto que fui de tal modo absorvida pelo filme que só me consegui soltar nos créditos. Não sei se pela fotografia, se pela cor, se pelas interpretações ou até mesmo pela história... mas houve algo de perturbador e simultaneamente de fascinante que me fez vibrar ao longo do filme. Penso talvez que a humanização da protagonista, a chantagem e a violência misturada na vida de uma bailarina tão promissora são os pontos cruciais para o filme ter a força que tem. Considero ainda que a sequência inicial tem um ritmo, uma beleza estética e um impacto avassalador e talvez por isso o espetador se agarre à história desde o início.

     There is something disturbing associated with the red that perhaps associates with the title (Red) that created a certain discomfort during 2h.Red Sparrow is, first and foremost, a spy movie. And how many spy films have not been made, seen, and reviewed yet? How many spy films do not have that fan fatal that drives the characters crazy and overcome seemingly impossible obstacles?But the surprising thing is that, although the trailer hints at being more of a Hollywood bandwagon, it is not, and I can not understand the meager quote that is attributed to it. 

     I have little to speak in technical terms since I was so absorbed by the film that I only managed to let go of the credits. I don't know if it was about the photography, the color, the interpretation or even the story ... but there was something disturbing and simultaneously fascinating that made me vibrate throughout the film. I think perhaps that the humanization of the protagonist, the blackmail and the mixed violence in the life of such a promising ballerina are the crucial points for the film to have the strength that it has. I also consider that the initial sequence has a rhythm, aesthetic beauty and an overwhelming impact that will grasp the spectator to the story from the very beginning.
